Morobe needs new leaders

LIKE the rest of PNG, Morobe is not progressing well and voters are disappointed with the leaders they elected in 2002.
I would say that only 5% of our leaders have performed. The rest are in hibernation.
Just look at the so-called second city of PNG. Despite the millions of kina pumped into the city each year, potholes abound, medical services are struggling, settlers continue to converge and the law and order situation is deteriorating by the day.
Lae is like a time-bomb which can explode at any time.
The time is right for the people to elect new leaders who will not spend precious time in courtrooms and air-conditioned offices and wasting tax-payers’ money.
We want leaders who can deliver real tangible services to the people they serve.
