IT would be interesting to see how
the public’s protest can influence the government’s proposal to remove
NCD Governor Powes Parkop. I call on my fellow Papua New Guineans, especially those well-informed and educated one in Port Moresby to do the same on issues that are contrary to good and transparent governance. Let us not be complacent on issues affecting the well-being of our country. If the MPs elected by the people cannot perform, let’s go out there and voice our opinion. Let us not depend on foreign countries to teach us how to rule our country effectively. Let’s be patriotic, get together and speak up for ourselves. PNG needs to take control of its own destiny.
