Philemon likened to a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay

LAE MP and New Generation Party leader Bart Philemon has been described as a prisoner released from the infamous Guantanamo Bay jail.
His party co-founder and Lae businessman Sir Bob Sinclaire made this remarks when they celebrated Mr Philemon’s release recently from the National Alliance party, of which he was a founding member.
The party refused to sack him and held him against his will until the legally prescribed window of opportunity presented itself that allowed Mr Philemon to formally resign from NA.
“Thank you for making time available to join us tonight as we celebrate the release of an eminent person from ‘jail’. That person – who has been held against his will for the last eight months – is none other than our New Generation Party leader and Lae MP, Honorable Bart Philemon.”
