Zibe upset over PNGCCI’s action

MINISTER for Agriculture and Livestock is upset that PNG Cocoa Coconut Institute Board had betrayed the understanding between him and the board by terminating the CCIPNG chief executive officer.
Sasa Zibe was responding to the board’s decision at a special meeting on March 27 that resolved to terminate Dr Vele Pat Ila’ava.
In a letter to the chairman of the board Jimmy Simitab dated April 2, the minister expressed that he was not happy with the manner in which the board had continued to bring instability to the industry.
