Government House work queried

OPPOSITION leader Peter O’Neill has called on the Government to put a stop to current renovation work at Government House, funded by a foreign country.
Mr O’Neill slammed the National Government for failing to fund maintenance work on the highest institutions of the country.
In his questions to Deputy Prime Minister in Parliament yesterday, Mr O’Neill asked whether Mr Don Polye was aware that renovation work was being carried out by a foreign country at Government House.
Mr Polye said he was not aware of the details and would provide the answers later.
