Boroko off-season finals this Saturday

BOROKO Off-Season Rugby Football League will stage its first ever grand final at the Port Moresby Rugby League Oval 3 on Saturday.
The highlight of the grand final will the battle for the Wari Vele Cup between the two premier teams, Four-Mile Cats (Boroko) and D8 Mosquitoes of Eight-Mile while in the B grade division, Boroko Bulldogs and Moitaka Dragons take on each other.
Boroko Off-season Rugby Football League president Steady Aioke said the finals will be a great showdown whereby teams will be fielding their best players to grab the cup and shield respectively.
This would be the first ever grand final after the competition have staged its games during the past years but have not played their finals.
Boroko Off-season League has attracted four clubs which have been competing at PRL Oval 2 and PRL Oval 3 since the end of last year.
Boroko Off-Season League is appealing to all the four clubs and their supporters participating in the finals to abstain from violence and play good clean football.
Aioke also thanked all the clubs who have participation and appeal to them to behave and refrain from any form of violence.
