Changing world
There's running water in the house
and burning diesel in the ship.
There's fast cars in the garage
and dead warriors in a tip.
There's stupid poetry everywhere
and hot coffee I can smell.
There's scared ladies in the heat
and frozen monks house warming hell.
There's stupid birds on the ground
and blossoming desert in the sea.
There's talking dogs chasing hens
and the lying truth yet to see.

Inborn conflict
The self, an entity of life
Self aware of its existence
Conflicting with the inner self
Overcome this strife
Be modest in your pretence
Be one with your inner self
You have a mind of your own
Giving thoughts their wings
To fly in awesome wonder
Pondering all that you own
A gift from the kings
The source of your wonder
Know that in uniting
All barriers are broken
Both are truly one

What are you?
A Christian or what?

Timed sulking
She rang at 2:30pm
And I explained I had a client
So if she did not mind
I would call her back
I called ten minutes later
And it was her turn to explain
That she had a client
And that she would call me back
I waited
No more phone calls
2.49pm and no calls forthcoming
I waited. I waited. And I waited
Of course she would call me
Within her usual 20 minutes of sulking
Even if it took her 100 years
Because she was lewa tru blong PNG
(P.S. She did call. At exactly 2.50pm)
