ANZ to install 10 ATMs, 156 Eftpos

ANZ Bank customers will be pleased with the inclusion of 10 automatic telling machines (ATM) along with the distribution of 156 new Eftpos terminals at its various branches.
Managing director Garry Tunstall announced these plans for the improvement of customer services in terms of providing modern banking technologies for its customers last year.
The bank was to bring in 16 new ATMs and 600 new Eftpos machines along with 20 agencies roll out through the course of the year.
The costly exercise of putting in place these banking technologies is all for the benefit of the customers with ANZ Bank striving to be a different bank, one that is bold and one that breaks out to meet clients’ needs.
During a one-day workshop for directors hosted by the PNG Institute of Directors, Mr Tunstall noted that ANZ (PNG) had a market capital of K300 million and assets of K3 billion, where in the context of the ANZ group, maybe considered relatively small but ANZ (PNG) was the most profitable offshore operation for ANZ in the Pacific region.
