Problem students need counselling
IT is very distressing to read about school students being caught consuming alcohol during school hours. This is unheard of 10 or 20 years ago.
Then, we used to compete with other community schools in sports, debates and quizzes. We used to celebrate end of year parties with a mumu, singsing, etc. We treated each other with respect.
Lately, students have been amusing themselves with alcohol, drugs and other cult practices.
We must put a stop this by identifying problematic students and giving them counselling and sending them to rehabilitation centres. These students need serious attention.
