It’s war on NA
THE campaign to form the next government began in earnest yesterday, with the fight to remove Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare’s party, launched on three different fronts.
Former prime minister Sir Mekere Morauta and former treasurer Bart Philemon declared yesterday in Aitape, West Sepik province, that they were forming the next government.

Mite too late... Amos Junior Yawi had the money but nowhere to nominate. He and his supporters flashing the money that they had hurriedly collected to nominate him at the Electoral Commission office in Port Moresby yesterday but the gate was closed soon after 4pm. Mr Yawi claimed he would have nominated earlier but was waiting to collect enough money to pay his nomination fee. He accepted that he was late and said he would wait until the next elections. — Nationalpic by WILLIAM WILLIANDO
