Aid post upgrade to start soon

WITH the upgrading of the Sampun aid post in East Pomio to a sub-health centre, the number of people dying from curable diseases will be reduced.
The project, worth over K190,000, was approved last year. It was allocated funding to the tune of K100,000. The shortfall of over K90,000 was given by the Canadian government following a request from Pomio MP Paul Tiensten.
Work on the aid post should start soon.
