Bombers make four changes to line-up

By SAMPSON BONAI
LBC Bombers had made four changes to their line-up when they take on top-placed Brian Bell Bulldogs in round five of SP Cup game at Port Moresby’s Lloyd Robson Oval on Sunday.
Bombers registered their first victory over Rabaul Gurias last weekend and are looking forward to winning their second in Port Moresby.
Bombers coach Boga Tau said he opted for experienced players and had to rest two of his young players Yapa Kapu and Noel Wasu, and call up veterans Randall Kaupa, Titus Maima, Leonard Otmar and Donald Akisar.
“It is a crucial game and I opted for more experienced players to withstand the pressure from the top team,” Tau said.
The rest of the side remain the same with lock John Milba retaining the captaincy, Benson Joel playing fullback, while Leonard Otmar will partner Eki Ene in the
centres.
Andrew Sam had been called to fill in five-eighth position and Nime Kapo completes the backline at halfback.
Tony Dai will pack down with Dusty Mockley at prop and Andrew Baine plays hooker, Anton Ken and Jerry Kuts will be the two backrowers.
Forwards Jopi Sape, Cedric Belo Titus Maima and backline specialist Randall Kaupa will start from the bench.
Brian Bell Bulldogs will rely on captain and lock Johnson Kuike to lead his charges upfront when they take on Bombers in their home turf on Sunday.
Bulldogs have recorded straight victories on their home turf and will look forward to add Bombers to their list of victims.
Enara had put his charges through serious training this week with more emphasis on ball security and attack and defence to stop their opponents and to utilise their backline to the fullest.
