Ten register to take part in Haga snooker tournament

TEN clubs have confirmed their participation in the Haga snooker tournament that has been organised by Keiyagana Sports Association to be held in Goroka, Eastern Highlands province, over the long Queen’s Birthday weekend.
Association secretary Dima O’toole said this week that the tournament had drawn ten teams from all over Goroka and have confirmed their participation over the long Queens Birthday weekend in two weeks time.
“It is a first of its kind and we expect a huge turn out to support their respective clubs and to cheer them on to win
“The ten clubs are SL Topics, Beach boys, Itu MSL, Stone Dusties, Faipas, Yamo Nights, K Force, Country and GP will battle it out with each other in pool A and pool B in four rounds and the winners of the two pools will play against each other,” O”Toole said.
“The two teams that finish second in the two pools will also battle it out with each other and the winner in game one will take on the winner in game two in the grand final and the loser will play off for the third and fourth spots,’ he said.
Pool A team is made up of Lokeva Dima, Evi Thomas, Paip Eit Kusman, Opom Totapo, Kevin Jonathan, Kevin Awa, Colin George, Tom Peter, Kava Gedion and James Hear.
Pool B team comprises Neka Okena, Ipson Peter, Kitro Lufa, Oscar Colin, Tetepo Lemeck, Kasto Jonathan, Keef Bossy, Fonopa Stan, Bill Graham and Desmond Sopa.
