Trucker backs volleyball team

MAPAI Trucking had sponsored a local volleyball club from West Taraka with a new set of uniforms to take part in the corporate volleyball competition in Lae.
West Bullets volleyball club treasurer Ogi Kave thanked Mapai Trucking general manager Andrew Lati for coming to their aid to buy the new set of uniforms for the volleyball club.
“We have struggled to find a sponsor to help purchase us with a new set of uniforms and were delighted and very thankful with Mapai Trucking for coming to our assistance with the new set of uniforms,” Kave said.
“We will also be taking part in the local volleyball championships to be held from July 6-8 to select a strong side to represent Morobe in the coming PNG Games that will be held on November 14-22 in Lae,” he said.
West Bullets are made up of youths living at West Taraka who are participating in the Lae corporate volleyball competition that is played at Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium in Lae every weekend.
