Netball to elect office bearers

ALL the clubs delegates, former netball players and administrators are urged to attend the annual general meeting of Lae Netball Association at the netball courts at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium at 1pm on Saturday to elect a new executive.
Care taker Lae netball executive Josephine Ila said yesterday that the AGM will be held on Saturday to elect new executive to manage the affairs of Lae Netball Association.
"I urged all the former players and sports administrators and school coaches and teachers involved in netball to attend this important AGM," Ila said.
"We will also appoint a local organising committee to start preparing to host the national championship that will be held in Lae in September this year," she said.
Ila said the junior competition had started already last weekend except for the seniors as they had to wait after the AGM to have a fixtures committee in place to make up the draws for the start of the senior competition.
