Four non-travel reserves were also named.
PNG will play round robin matches against Japan, Fiji and host Vanuatu on July 17-24 with the two top-ranked teams fighting out to decide who will go to the World Cup.
The team: Tony Ura, Heni Siaka, Tanti Heni, Emmanuel Karo, Miller Rabura, Alfred Amini, Colin Amini (batsmen) Arua Dikana (w/keeper), Jonathan Diho, Jason Kila (all rounders), Loa Nou, Jacob Mado, Harry Eua and Willie Gavera (bowlers).
Non traveling reserves: Archie Vala, Joel Tom (batsman), Rarua Agalu (all rounder) and bowler Namona Airi.
The team starts training next Monday at Amini Park in Port Moresby where they will also receive assistance from a visiting coach from New Zealand Stuart McCallum.
