Skills training vital

IT IS a waste of money to advertise during the campaigning period the lists and how much is given to each school.
Those who are campaigning for free education are misleading people and are not giving a clear picture of the consequences of a well educated population without getting employment.
We have not reviewed nor evaluated the current education reform, its implementation and the lack of tertiary space.
The current Outcome Based curriculum introduced by Australia was an experiment and it was a failure in Western Australia.
It must be removed and we must now consider an appropriate and practical skills training such as vocational and technical schools.
Eighty per cent of the students will drop out and they must be absorbed by these technical schools so they can go back to the villages and be a productive member in their rural area.
This will solve the unemployment problem and make each individual an entrepreneur, hence creating work for those in rural areas.
Therefore, I would like to appeal to voters not to vote blindly for those who talk about free education.
