Eric Kuman to act

THE PNG Rugby Football League Board over the weekend's meeting in Madang appointed Eric Kuman as the acting chairman following the resignation of Sir Bob Sinclair
The meeting has asked Kuman who was the deputy chairman to act on the position until the annual general meeting when election for chairman will take place.
Kuman has accepted the position as acting chairman.
Due to the resignation of Sir Bob Sinclair as Chairman of PNGRFL. The board at its meeting on Saturday has asked deputy chairman Eric Kuman to act as Chairman until the AGM in November, when election for a chairman can take place. Eric Kuman has accepted the position of acting chairman.
The board on accepting Sir Bob's resignation, thanked him for his service over the years. He had brought the game of rugby league back to its position as number one sport in the country.
Under his Sir Bob's chairmanship, SP Cup was resurrected, schoolboys Rugby League reintroduced around the country, and International games became a regular feature of PNGRFL calendar. The board wished him well in the up coming elections.
