Independent woman

No dependence
Full of independence

No control
Full of freedom
In her own queen-dom

A promising career
Her own breadwinner
House of her own
A decent background
One started by herself alone

No rules to abide by
Don't need a ruler

The world is her own
Be an independent woman
The feeling is great

Abandoned

Just give me a cure for this pain
And I will move on
Take care of they whom I dearly love
Which I thought you did too till
You said you had no more place for us

We had dreams of going with you
All the way to build that house
A house where we'd all live
But you left to build another
With no shelter for me and our two

I will now fend for our two
The ones you no longer need
For you have found a better one
And made your choice as clear as day
Move on we hear you say

Time they say is the master healer
If so, let me bid my time in sleep
But if I sleep, what of the two
We brought into this world
Just give me a cure for this pain

Stella

One look at you
a sacred ordinance
Sculpture of magnificence
endowed with grace and beauty
The breath
The life in me

Watching you
from a secret hide
A rose set in the garden
surrounded by jealous thorns
You blush...
My ego constraint

Suddenly
eye to eye
My head feels dazed
Your breath is close to mine
Its scent was
therapy for me
You wear
a smile of tempt

Oh Stella!
Poets sought and musicians strain
To capture the magic of your note
Which lyric
Only I could sing

And yet
the song is never heard

Paint yourself right

Rub down, rub down
Every bit of bitterness and deceit
That's present and unpleasant
It's all growing out of control
On the surface of your heart
Unload, unload
Every chance of it making you enticed
By its overflowing unrest
Unwind, unwind
yourself right now sweetheart
Before it's too late
you don't wanna be unsettled forever
Rub in, rub in
right now and let me soak that brush so
All the rudimentary choices for happiness
can be mixed perfectly
Rub down, rub down
every bad tone and feeling of self centredness
Then maybe then you'll discover
that special sun spot is close at hand
Come on, come on
Baby blue, shake off the unwanted dust that's
still spangled on that phony smile of yours
And maybe just then you'll realise
I'm dying to paint that beautiful
picture of you
