Building up for Greece

Mr South Pacific Donald Kaiwi is set to embark on yet another milestone event in his illustrious career as he prepares for the International Body Building association’s Mr Olympia title in Greece in November.
Looking ahead at his first ever appearance at that level and under that association, Kaiwi said the natural physique aspect of the competition was what lured him to want to compete.
Unlike others, Kaiwi said that association was very strict on drug usage allowing for a more natural and equal competition.
The title will be held in the historical Greek city of Thessalonica for two days starting November 25 with around 300 body builders expected to compete.
To help him get there, Airways Hotel has agreed to assist him by letting him use their new state of the art gymnasium as well as meet his travel expenses to Greece at a total cost of K25, 000.
Airways Director of operations Michael Baud said yesterday his company was a great advocate of good exercise and healthy living and was happy to support Kaiwi.
Kaiwi is quietly confident of putting up a good showing saying he aims to bring back that natural form of body building and introduce it in the country.
