Peter strikes three in 5-0 win

STRIKER Wendy Peter scored a hat-trick of goals to help Lamana beat Markham Yarangs 5-0 in the Port Moresby women premier soccer match on Saturday at Bisini Soccer ground.
Peter opened the score book 8th minutes in the first half before she collected her double in the 11th minute and completed the trifecta in the 13th minute to put Lamana on the course to victory.
Betty Udi scored her first goal of the season in the 28th minute and then Doris Lus make sure that Lamana look good in the 39th minute with an excellent solo effort goal.
The ladies from Markham Valley have no answer for Lamana’s onslaught.
University were in their own class by scoring the opening goal in the fifth minute through Francis Madoni and Tokoi Norrie followed with another brilliant goal in the 20th minute and five minutes later, Telikom’s Caroline Moeder belted their only goal to ensure some respectability in the scoreline.
Guria just managed beat PNG Gardener 1-0 while competition leaders, Rapatona collected the three golden points on an easy platter after forfeiting Naniu.
