This is the correct score

WEST Rules Football Club has cried foul over the scoreline reported by this paper as Dockers won the AFL-Port Moresby on Saturday.
This is what Wests coach Paul Laogo (pictured) is saying about the scoreline in the weekend match against KDC Dockers.
Laogo said the 42-41 score reported in favour of KDC Dockers was incorrect. The score was in fact 43-33 in favour of Wests, he added.
Laogo said that as per official score sheet, Wests ran away with 15 points to two in the opening quarter but Dockers never let it slip away easily and dominated the second quarters 20-1.
In the third quarter, Wests jumped out of its shell to score 20 point while Dockers collected only seven points.
The final quarter saw an evenly contested affair but Wests prevailed 7-6 which, Laogo said, should bring the final tally to 43-33.
AFL Port Moresby executive Dominic Kaumu said yesterday that there was no need for Wests to go to the media if they disagreed with the official score. “Wests RFC should come and see me and sort the matter out,” he added.
“Going to media is not helping but only paints a bad picture while the interim executive is trying to get the competition up and running”.
In other AFL Port Moresby news, Wests RFC has also questioned why there were no Wests players in the AFL training squad for the upcoming championships in Lae.
