Swans to face the Bulldogs

ERIKU SWANS will face a fired-up Bulldogs side when the two meet in the opening A grade Lae/AFL competition at Eriku Oval on Sunday.
AFL PNG vice-president Thomas Gori said the tussle between the two sides will be tough because Bulldogs had recruited well during off season and will give Swans a tough game.
“Swans are the current competition leaders and will not allow any opportunity to slip past them as they want to maintain their top spot on the competition ladder,” Gori said.
Swans are followed by NGI Power, Bulldogs, and Unitech Hawks.
Bulldogs will rely on their centre half forward Nelson Bui to bail them out of any trouble with his kicking skills.
Eriku Swans fullback Alan Kaumi had a great season this year and will ensure that no goals will be uncontested in his goal mouth.
Their fast flowing football should give them the advantage over their opponents a hard time.
Bulldogs coach and former Mosquitoes Alan Kaumu should guide his team to victory over the Swans.
Swans father and son combination of Alester and Enoch Sioni should link up well in centre forward to stop Bulldogs kickers from getting past them to score points and to maintain their top spot.
In the second game, NGI Power should give bottom placed Unitech Hawks a good run for their money when the two meet in the main game.
