‘Telikom’s landline service is a disgrace’
IT seems Pangtel and Telikom are
doing all they can to prevent competition.
Instead, Telikom should put more effort and resources into maintaining what it
currently provides and WITHOUT facing competition – landline service.
Its landline service is a disgrace with customers having to wait more than a
year to have a line installed or fixed.
Let PNG move forward with the rest of the world and not be held back by an
expensive, slow and inefficient service provider.
Telikom has more payphones out of order than those that are working. Not
everyone can afford to buy a K5 Telikad to make a 30t call.
Furthermore, companies like Digicel also employ a lot of Papua New Guineans.
In the end, what matters is what is best for the people of Papua New Guinea.
