Nablu assures Angau of funds

CASH strapped Angau Memorial Hospital in Lae, Morobe province can expect better things in the months ahead, board chairman Benson Nablu said.
Mr Nablu told a gathering in Lae last Friday, the new government formed after this election would attend to the problem.
“We were promised K5 million but we never got it but I am confident that we will get more than that in the coming months,” he said.
Mr Nablu was addressing employees of the Lae city council and councillors at a function to farewell the councillors who were going to the polls in four months.
He said he was working behind the scene to ensure that the K50 million promised to the Lae city council for the Lae city roads would materialise.
Mr Nablu, a NA candidate in the national election for the Lae Open seat, was confident the money, promised by Prime Minister Sir Michael Somare some months ago, would be given.
