Doubling up for the finals

NCD Volleyball Association will double up its semi final games, with the major and minor semis in the morning and the elimination and qualifying semi finals tomorrow afternoon at the Taurama Leisure Centre.
A special council meeting on Tuesday approved this decision.
In the men’s premier major semi final reigning premiers, Melonah Scorpions will take on Aranamo BBK. Scorpions beat BBK in both meeting this season so should start as pre-match favorites.
PNG Team members Ula Gima and Loi Walo are in great form and will lead Scorpion’s onslaught. The duo’s ability in defence and offence will lay the foundation and alongside them will be Vatu Rupa, Daniel Guma and Terry Rupa, with playmaker Kila Walo calling the shots.
Aranamo are as good with blocking duo Gerea Kila and Tuksy Maino Kala Kila will be directing play, feeding hitters Jason Vela, Graham Alu and Rauwin Mala. Although, individually skill level is high on both sides, Scorpions team combination that has produced results might be the telling factor in the end.
The winner will play minor premiers PNG Ports later in the afternoon.
In the men’s premier do-or-die feature PM GrassHoppers will clash with Viriolo.
