SP Brewery funds Enga show, vows to support future events

THE preservation of Papua New Guinea’s cultures and traditions is very important, South Pacific (SP) Brewery manager Stan Joyce said after committing K10,000 to the Enga cultural show organisating committee last Friday.
Mr Joyce also said the brewery had been in PNG for over 55 years and the company recognised the importance of traditions and cultures.
“Papua New Guinea is so fortunate to still practice its traditions and cultures and we would like to see it continue in the years to come.
“For this reason, we are happy to support cultural events such as the Enga show,” Mr Joyce said.
The company had supported the Enga show during the last three years and “will continue to assist cultural events to promote and showcase PNG traditions to tourists and most importantly, to the young people of PNG who will continue the legacy of these traditions”, Mr Joyce said.
The Enga cultural show was held last weekend.
