Transition
Gone the days
When greetings met hellos
Good Samaritans many
Where singing
And empathy embraced
Too proud to self esteem
Greed with ignorance
A norm ever since

Divorce
Adults dance in the
Forbidden zone so soon
Swoon
Fun to flirt
but to bet
Past the wrath
they wait
Mate, bait the fate
and state your slate
dare to rate
Then it will be your child's plea
"Mama do not cry
ain't no crime to fight for maintenance
for your child"
Then when tomorrow comes
she becomes the street seller
push the crate
pass the basket to the fence
for the shame too late
their fate is in their faith
to wait
But God awaits their prayer
tonight

Dreamland
Lullaby my two angels
As you sleep who plays with you in your dreams
Do you roam under rainbows
Return to your peaceful homes
Every angel good and bad
Needs a mummy and a daddy
Don't cry coz you have
Just never mind this sad old earth
For some sweet long hours of peace
Don't think you're loved any less
We love you more than anyone can guess
And when your days are been long and far
Tonight, you're gliding on a star
Tomorrow morning is never near
Heaven is just behind each tear
Each little angel ever born
Will wake in heaven when his journey is done

Defining love
I once heard
That love was like the wind
One cannot see it
One just feels it
But how can one feel love
If one knows not what love is
And if one knows love
How can one define love explicitly
For many have said
I am in love
But they fall as quickly out of love
As they fall in
Perhaps love will remain a mystery
Forever lost in man's dictionaries
But yet imprinted in our hearts
And only surfaces when it wants
There are so many meanings
For such a simple word
And this bluntly shows us all
That we haven't got a clue
So what is love
You may want to define it
To give a good answer
And satisfy your intrigued mind
What can I say
If you don't know what love is
Then surely you can appreciate
That neither do I
