TWO contestants for the Miss PNG Charity title are seeking sponsorship from business houses.
They are among seven ladies who have entered the quest, which is organised by the Red Cross Society to raise funds for its activities.
“It’s for a worthy cause. Your time, money and efforts will not be wasted,” Julie Maurice said in her appeal for sponsorship.
The 21-year-old hails from the Gulf province and works as a cashier and accounts receivable clerk with a tyre company in Port Moresby
She said she was motivated to join the quest because of the type of work that Red Cross does.
She added that one of her main priorities in life was to help the needy.
