Defence make finals

NCS Defence marchedinto the Port Moresby rugby union premier division grand final after defeating Kone Sharks 5-0 in a rematch of last weekend’s aborted game. Defence will now meet minor premiers University Piggies in the grand final on Saturday at Bava Park.
Port Moresby Rugby Union ordered the rematch after it was called off the previous weekend because of a spectator attack on a linesman.
Winger Willie Vineval’s try in the 35th minute of the first half made easy by centre Graham Sakora was the only score of the match.
Coach Sydney Wesley congratulated Kone Sharks for putting up a good fight, adding that his team had one more mountain to climb and they plan to prepare well for the challenge.
