Marengo eyes K683m copper-hauler railway

A 100KM railway from Ramu Valley to a coastal plant site near Madang will cost Marengo Mining an estimated US$224 million (K683 million) out of a total Yandera project cost of US$1.14 billion.

PAPUA New Guinea is the fifth largest exporter of crude oil to Australia in the year ending June 30, according to statistics published yesterday by the Australian bureau of agricultural and resource economics (ABARE).
