Duo win Telikom promo

THE nationwide Telikom NRL grand-final and B Mobile Giveaway competition in Wewak ended on Wednesday with two customers winning a Sony Ericsson handset respectively.
Leo Kuminga and Gertrude Hombewafe, both from East Sepik will now have their names sent to Telikom’s Regional Office in Lae where they will go into the major draw on Sunday with the chance to win a return trip for two to Australia to watch the NRL grand final Live with A$1,000 (K2,411) spending money and accommodation all paid by Telikom.
East Sepik and Sandaun district Telikom manager Peter Waikuapi said the competition were aimed at promoting Telikom’s products which includes, pre-paid cards, telikads, B Mobile phones and SIM cards that were distributed and sold by Telikom and its major partners in East Sepik.
Mr Waikuapi said with establishment of another mobile company, Telikom was determined to provide the best telecommunication service to its customers and that customers should not hesitate to see them if they (customers) had problems.
“Here at Telikom, we consider our customers as number one because without you, we will not be in business,” Mr Waikuapi lamented.
He also thanked their major distributors City Pharmacy, Tang Mow, Christian Bookshop Melanesia, Post PNG and Wewak Music Centre for their part in marketing and promoting Telikom’s products.
The promotion was jointly organised by City Pharmacy and Telikom where customers who purchased any Telikom’s products exceeding K20 were eligible to enter.
