Dusava: Petition reports explains my stance

I REFER to a letter by a Philip Basaun (Sept 21) asking if it was Gabriel Dusava again filing a court petition challenging Peter Wararu for the second time running.
The writer, in doing so, expresses concern about whether the legal cost of the last petition against Wararu was paid before this one was filled.
First, the answer to the question whether it is me Dusava again, is a big “yes”.
It is I, Gabriel JKH Dusava again. If he still wants to know the reason why I am petitioning against Wararu, then he is not very smart, because the reasons are glaring in his face.
All he needs to do is spend some time reading my 2004 by-election petition and this year’s petition and find out the justifications as to why the wishes of the majority of Yangoru Sausians ought to be aired and defended.
Secondly, the writer should go to the electorate and see for himself the state of our road conditions, the shut-down health centres and schools, including Yangoru station itself.
The writer should go and see if the K900,000 “slush funds” allocated to Yangoru-Sausia are still there or have been eaten up by one small group of “kaikai lain”.
If you are not a Yangoru-Kubalia or a Y2K citizen, do not open your mouth when you know so little about what is or has been going on in the electorate.
If the writer wants to know about the question of legal costs, he should ask Wararu or go and do a search at the National Court Registry to find out.
