Humiliated by tribal fights

TRIBAL fights in the Highlands region are painting a bad picture of PNG to the international community. They deter foreigners from travelling to PNG, especially the Highlands.
I was in Sydney last July for a week and an Australian asked me about all the tribal fights she read in the newspapers and asked me how safe it is for her to travel to PNG.
I was unable to defend my country because tribal fighting was rife. I was humiliated because of this question and wanted to remind these people that we are now living in the 21st Century.
You should be ashamed that your tribal fights are making our international neighbours think we are still living in the Stone Age.
With the current information technology, information is easily available through the internet.
For example, there was a video made by a foreigner in Western Highlands about tribal fights and was now posted on the internet.
Those interviewed demonstrated how they used guns as though they were garden tools.
I appeal to these tribes to change their ways or your children will continue to live in the Dark Ages.
