Unitech has lost its shine of yore

UNITECH, once an admired institution, is now a complete disgrace to the country.
The years of producing highly sought-after graduates and pioneer research work are things of the past now.
Staff morale, pride and respect for this institution is non-existent.
Students have lost respect and faith in lecturers as a result of the inadequacy of this institution’s management to provide much needed support for academic programmes and properly rewarding the staff.
The current woes are a result of poor management coupled with very poor guidance and foresight by the current management and council.
These problems would continue as long as the current management and council are in power.
In my opinion, these people have overstayed their watch.
It is very sad for the institution to be in such a shamble. Imagine a household with a steady source of income having the power or water turned off due to non-payment of bills.
The Government should start recognising the state of affairs in Unitech now before all hell breaks loose one day.
