Murder of deputy headmaster condemned

KANDEP MP Don Polye has condemned what he described as the “cold- blooded murder” of Kandep high school’s deputy headmaster.
Mr Polye said at least 18 of the suspects had been identified.
Mr Polye said he would let investigations proceed and “let the law take its own course”.
He said the people from his electorate had been asked to assist and they would assist by asking the suspects to surrender.
Mr Polye called on the law enforcement agencies to ensure that those who were involved in the brutal killing be brought to justice.
“I, as the local member for Kandep, have already begun work with the police to assist in arresting and prosecuting those directly responsible.
“I will continue to work with police to ensure those culprits and others involved were behind bars.” Mr Polye said.
He commended the relatives of the deceased for entrusting the police with law enforcement instead of taking the law into their own hands.
