Top shots in PX should go

THE national carrier Air Niugini is suffering and I hope the Prime Minister and the NEC treat this matter urgently.
The national airline used to be very effective until this new board and management came on board.
Can the National Government step in and sack the CEO and appoint some experienced and no nonsense executives to run the airline?
The level of service has dropped dramatically in such a short time. The people are frustrated with the number of delayed or cancelled flights everyday.
Business houses who rely on the airline such as TNT, DHL, Zenag, Post PNG and others have suffered millions of kina in losses as a result of the airline management’s inadequacies and incompetence to solve this crisis.
Air Niugini and Kumarasiri cannot continue to apologise everyday to passengers for the very poor service.
Air Niugini is the most expensive airline in the world and its services stink.
The airline industry needs competition so that Kumarasiri is kept on his toes to figure out how to run the airline properly.
Digicel has taught Telikom PNG a good lesson on service delivery and now Papua New Guineans are beginning to enjoy quality service at affordable prices.
The Government should introduce a competitor or else allow Airlines PNG to bring in Dash 8s or Fokker 100s to operate.
Air Niugini is ripping off its customers and has painted a very bad image for domestic as well as international travellers.
