VOCATIONAL institutions in Bougainville yesterday showcased their products and skills to the public at the Buka town beachfront .
Sponsored by the Bougainville Law and Justice Sector, the theme for the open day was Creating Markets for Quality Products, which was aimed at promoting quality skills and training offered by vocational schools.
The six vocational schools in the region – St Anne’s Tarlena, Burunotui, Tinputz, Arawa, Koromera and Buin vocational centres – participated in the event.
Autonomous Bougainville Government President Joseph Kabui urged the students to believe in themselves.
