K50million for police housing

THE Minister for Internal Security Sani Rambi says K50 million has been earmarked for the rehabilition of police housing in the country.
He said housing conditions for policemen in rural areas were appalling and he would be looking at ways to build new houses.
The Internal Security Minister was responding to questions from Anglimp-South Waghi MP Jamie Maxtone-Graham about the promised police station and police housing at Minj. Mr Rambi said those commitments would be honoured by the Government.
