Tips for EMTV improvements

EMTV, the only TV station in PNG is 20-years-old this year. I take this opportunity to wish it well in its celebrations and plans for the next 20 years.
At the same time, I would like to make some suggestions to improve programmes contents:
l Do away with the breaks during the 6pm news. While I appreciate the sponsors, they have the opportunity to advertise their products and services in other programmes;
l Send your TV crew all over the country to show viewers other parts of the country, sporting activities and plight of the people, and the state of Government services;
l Can we have some programmes in Tok Pisin? This would enable viewers in rural areas to understand what is being shown;
l Include educational programmes or documentaries during prime time viewing to cater for the school children;
l I don’t see the relevance of some programmes such as King and Queens when we have our very own Kanage and Omokoi who can add humour but advocate issues of interest such as HIV, greenhouse effect, TB, etc;
l While I acknowledge the sponsors of the Haus and Home, can EMTV and the sponsors consider making the programme more rural PNG-oriented by going out to different parts of the country?
