POLICE Commissioner Gari Baki is currently attending the 36th Pacific

The annual event is aimed at strengthening rapport and promoting greater

crime.
The event being hosted by Niue but being staged in New Zealand is being

“The objective of the conference is namely enhancing police

Executive officer to the commissioner of police Andrew Sterns confirmed

Pacnews on Tuesday published that tackling domestic violence and
trans-national crime would be some of the issues discussed during the
meet.
It reported the conference is being chaired by Niue police chief Ross
Adern, who is a member of the NZ police, which is currently seconded to
Niue.
Supt Tony Annandale, executive director to Pacific Islands Chief of

skills development and mentoring for member police services.
The chiefs, their delegates and regional partners would also be talking
