IBS gets down to business
INSTITUTE of Business Studies is in
the mix to battle for glory in the Corporate Nines rugby league
challenge.
IBS deputy director Sadid Ali presented a cheque in registration
fee of K1,250 to organising firm Corporate Games (PNG) Ltd
director Ivan Ravu at its main campus in Port Moresby yesterday.
Ali when presenting the cheque said it was in the best interest
of its staff and students that IBS would standby in any way to
help them to develop completely in studies as well as in health
or recreational wise to realise their potentials as complete
persons.
“This is the first time for IBS to partner with rugby league,
but it has involved with cricket and other sports as well. We
are proud to be associated with, and take part in the
challenge,” said Ali.
Ravu welcomed and thanked IBS for their participation, adding
that it will be a rewarding event as players meet with
individuals from different corporate entities and create
relationship that would be used to advantage in the corporate
world.
Twelve teams that have confirmed their participation in the
week-long night games from November-January at Lloyd Robson
Oval.
