Rookies deadline this month

registration deadline is set for at the end of October.
Organising committee member Cybele Druma appealed to all
participation clubs in different categories of both sexes that
Oct 30 is when all registration and participation of teams will
be finalised.
The two-day tournament that will be held on Nov 22-23 will
feature rising stars and big name players in sevens circuit to
do battle for hefty cash prizes in different categories at the
Bava Park.
Druma said that there is space only for 12 teams in men’s U20
teams, while women will have eight teams in open category and
six teams will be allowed in U20 category.
She said this is going to be an excitement filled with
blistering speed and power where both men’s and women’s team can
be part of rugby festival.
The prize money for wining teams is as follows for men: Cup
winner will receive K3,000 and the runner-up walk away with
K1,000 while plate winner and runner-up will receive K700 and
K400 respectively
In the women’s Irau Vagi Cup, K3,000 goes to cup winner and
K1,000 to runner-up while in the women’s U20 cup winning team
will receive a lump sum of K600 winner and K400 by the team
finishing second best.
Registration fee of all team is K400 each.
