We pray for justice
For corruption looms
We pray for love
For hate arises
We pray for peace
For people are dying

For division exists

Deep inside a lonely heart
Lives a love been torn apart
Many the times has it been broken
Creating hate as these words are spoken

Deep within a lonely heart
Dwells the secret of the dark
Every moment of its every beat
Pounds the evil from deep beneath

All around a lonely heart
Remain the scars from the past
Feeding envy as anger grows
Attracting danger as it grows

Deep asleep is a lonely heart
A stagnant organ about to shut
When systems down it can not cope
For faith and love depend on hope

So very silent is a lonely heart
So very quiet and simple but
Is there no cure for a lonely heart?
