We pray
We pray for justice
For corruption looms
We pray for love
For hate arises
We pray for peace
For people are dying
We pray for unity
For division exists
We pray for wisdom
For knowledge we have
We pray for freedom
For we are still captives
By Alice Thomas
The never
There on a wooden rest
firmed with an empty zest
there cannot be space
Untie this lace and forsake
Worldly embrace
Then breathe out the words
why are you here
in echoing reply
tell me what words
cannot adhere
Dust to dust
forever and ever
paths are crossed here now at
the never

Teen angel
Sister, daughter, cousin, niece, a mother,
A heavenly blessing
A child of peace
So remember
Little boy
She's not a toy
Or a video game
Not someone to call
Out of their name
So
Teen angel
Respect yourself and take good care
Watch how you act and
What you wear
And carry yourself with pride and dignity
For the whole world to see
You're the future
A young lady
A woman to be

A lonely heart
Deep inside a lonely heart
Lives a love been torn apart
Many the times has it been broken
Creating hate as these words are spoken
Deep within a lonely heart
Dwells the secret of the dark
Every moment of its every beat
Pounds the evil from deep beneath
All around a lonely heart
Remain the scars from the past
Feeding envy as anger grows
Attracting danger as it grows
Deep asleep is a lonely heart
A stagnant organ about to shut
When systems down it can not cope
For faith and love depend on hope
So very silent is a lonely heart
So very quiet and simple but
Is there no cure for a lonely heart?
Or just a still portrait a work of art
