Final trials completed

TWO new comers in the Private Companies Netball Competition (PCNC) in Port Moresby NTIL and Westpac completed their final trials with good wins over their opponent at the Rita Flynn court yesterday.
NTIL proved too strong from Kina 19-16 while Westpac down Fairdeal 19-15 to make their presence felt before the season proper kicks off. The results for early games are as follows Brian Bell beat Finance 19-11 and BSP led by Madlene Topalemu, Renagi Dringo and Kay John defeating Moore Printing 20-16.
PCNC executive Margaret Sulia said she was happy with the completion of the trial matches but she was disappointed that 30% of the teams never turn up for trail matches.
She added all the divisions completed their trials and they will move straight into season proper next week.
Sulia strongly warned the teams that fail to attend trials to reconfirm their interest by this week or they will be kicked out of the competition for this year.
The trial weekend’s was purposely to gauge the performance of the team to be classified in respective division this season and also sort out their players’ registration and team nominations.
