Grade 10 national examinations underway

ABOUT 370 Grade 10 students attending the Mt Hagen Park Secondary School sat for their final examinations yesterday.
They joined thousands of other students in the country to sit for the national examinations.
They began with the English paper yesterday and will sit for the Mathematics paper today.
They will sit for the Science paper tomorrow followed by Social Science on Thursday.
Deputy principal Raymond Sepa said the examination was conducted smoothly.
Mr Sepa said Mt Hagen Park Secondary School had received the full examinations papers to conduct the examination and they were looking forward to complete the examinations successfully.
He said teachers from other high schools in Western highlands province were present help in the supervision of the examination.
Mr Sepa also said that the Grade 12 students would be sitting for their final examinations starting next Monday and will end on Friday.
He said both Grades 10 and 12s’ graduation would be held on Dec 5 at the school ground.
He said education was important and that students had to study hard to achieve their goals in life.
