THE Morobe SP Satelite 7s which was schedule for this weekend was brought forward and played last weekend.

Organising committee chairman Robin Tarere convened a quick meeting and had the clubs agree to the early start because of the Morobe show.
The SCRUM Oval, where Morobe rugby union plays all its matches is located in the Lae Show Ground and for that reason, the games were brought forward.
All clubs attended and agreed unanimously except for Royals who were not represented
at the meeting.
This also resulted in Royals not fielding any team in the 7s competition and all their scheduled matches were forfeited.
Defence started brilliantly against Greyhounds, winning 38-0 but faltered against Unitech Reds2, 22-14 in Pool F. The race in that pool is now between the Reds and the soldiers.
In Pool A, Vikings2 and Rams 1 are equally poised while Royals2 has forfeited all their matches. Rams managed to beat the Vikings 12-5.
It is same with Royals 1 in Pool D, they were forfeited by Vikings 1 and Defence2, and in the only match that was played in the Vikings1 just managed pip Defence 5-0.
Greyhounds 1 flashy back Jason Missian scored after the fulltime siren to record 12-10 win over camps rival Unitech Reds1
Missian then combined with Sylvester Lingoina to put Rams2 to the slaughter 22-0.
The dogs lead Pool C, with two win while the Reds with a win over the Rams.
Pirates 1 beat Harlequins 2 12-0 and Telikom Crows 7-0 and leads Pool E followed by Harlequins2 and Crows.
