Bankers open winning account

REIGNING premiers Bank South Pacific (BSP) opened their account with a huge 29-11 scoreline against Kina in the first round of the Private Companies Netball competition on Sunday at Rita Flynn Court in Port Moresby.
Led by Madelene Topalemu, Kay John and Renagi Dringo, the bankers never looked back as they continued to dominate both the opening and the final halves of the match to win comfortably.
BSP players were looking sharp with their defensive and offensive play which gave Kina a run for their money.
In the opening match of the season, Fairdeal meant business by defeating the Lucy Emboge-led team, Brian Bell 23-10.
NTIL proved that they are the team to reckoned with when they maintained their composure to beat Moore Printing 22-17.
Leading 13-9 at half time, NTIL, with the help of Rhonda Nohoro, goals shooter, gave Kila Mori (GD) of Moore Printing a hard time.
Nohoro had to work overtime against Mori to score points.
The Teachers continued their momentum and went on to win the match by five points.
WPC and STC Fin registered the first draw game of the season - 19-all.
