‘Pay up now, or else’
SEVEN provinces have until the end of this month to pay
their nomination fee for the Third PNG Games to be staged in Lae on Nov
16-24.
PNG Games coordinator Raina Wareba said yesterday East New Britain, East
Sepik, Oro, Sandaun, Simbu, Southern Highlands and Milne Bay have yet to p
ay up.
Wareba said 12 provinces have confirmed their participation by paying their
K1,000 nomination fees.
She said the seven provinces have until Oct 31 (next Wednesday) to pay or
they will not be included in the games.
“Non-payment of nomination fees means non-participation at the 2007 PNG
Games in Lae,” she said.
Wareba said this means that the team athletes and officials will not be
accredited as well.
