COMPETITORS and officials of the PNG Games in Lae next month will now have more than K5,000 worth of sausages to go with their Homestate rice and Lae biscuits.
Prima Smallgoods representative, sales and marketing manager Mai Ori handed over the donations to the chairman of the host organising committee of PNG Games, Joseph Bau Maras at a small handover ceremony in Lae yesterday.
“We are pleased to support a worthy sporting activity as part of our community obligation that will involve people from all corners of Papua New Guinea, and are therefore donating K10,000 towards sponsoring the PNG Games,” Ori said.
Maras thanked Prima Smallgoods for their valuable assistance in cash and kind, saying that their assistance would go along way towards feeding the 6,000 athletes and officials during the PNG Games in Lae next month.
“I want to thank Prima Smallgoods on behalf of PNG Games organising committee for its valuable sponsorship and we will do everything to give you the maximum publicity as one of our corporate sponsors over the duration of the PNG Games,” Maras said.
